Miniature Carriage Clock

A fine and perfectly proportioned carriage clock with alarm, strike and push repeat. What makes this one quite interesting is the size. This is a very small example by Henry Capt of Geneva. The gilded case is wonderful and has a soft ‘satin’ finish. The dial is almost perfect with an almost imperceptible hair line in the top right corner (slightly hidden) The dial is attractively decorated with Arabic numerals instead of Romans. and the back plate is engraved with the makers name under the hand ‘set’ square. Fully serviced and guaranteed for 24 months. All in all, this is very good example of quite a rare size carriage clock by an exceptional maker.
