J.W.Benson Twin Fusee Wall Clock
A fine and small striking wall clock by J.W.Benson of Ludgate Street, London, styled as a wall/bracket clock. The Red Walnut case is of good colour, hung from the top, with a faux bracket and decorative floral carvings to the trunk, as well as stylish twin side panels and locking bottom door. The clock is nicely balanced with a wide surround and 8″ cream enamel dial, brass bezel and convex glass cover. A substantial and fine quality twin chain fusee movement, bell striking on the hour, which is unusual for a clock like this and it will run for 8 days on a full wind.
