A superb Victorian wall clock with an unusually decorative asymetric carved oak case of good proportions. It has a superb quality twin fusee movement which strikes on the hour on a bell. Made by Widenham, Lombard St, London. Circa1850. The case has the classic ‘pegged’ back box with lower locking door with key and one side door to the right. Very reasonably priced for such a clock.
