A beautiful little clock which has day and date sub-dials (in French ) J.Silvani of Paris was recorded working from around 1835 and produced very fine clocks. The design of this particular clock is like no other and remains entirely original. The silvered dial is signed and engraved, the case is of Ebony with engraved brass inlays and a fine decorative handle to the arched top. Circa 1840. Sold fully restored which involves completely dismantling the movement, removing the springs, de-greasing and re-greasing, ultrasonically cleaning all parts and giving our Guarantee.
