Adam Pringle of Edinburgh has been recorded working from Bristo Street Circa 1794-1820. This Oak longcase has many attractive features of Scottish clock and cabinet making. The long, slim trunk door, the 'Swan neck' pediment above the blind fret work. The single sheet brass dial is well engraved and silvered. Showing the time with beautiful blued steel hands and the makers name engraved to the arch. This clock has benefitted from a full overhaul in our workshop and will be delivered (locally) and set up - free of charge.
