Benjamin Lautier , Bath
£0.00
A good early 12″ convex dial wall clock with a high quality fusee movement , convex lower door held with a latch and side door also latched. The dial signed by Lautier of Bath. The case is constructed of early straight grain Mahogany, the profile of the surround is quite detailed and one of the best we have seen. Benjamin Lautier is listed working from 1790 to 1846. This clock would have been made around 1840. Quite an expensive clock back then and represents a good investment now.
